Brandon Birtcher

Brandon Birtcher is a fourth generation developer with over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.

Throughout his career, Brandon has experienced sweeping changes in the development and construction industry. During this time requirements for development applications, land prices and construction costs have increased dramatically. At the same time, development fees and returns on investment are diminishing.

In times like these, projects struggle to move ahead and the economy suffers. Even though Brandon has experienced several bust and boom cycles in this industry, the current economic cycle is decidedly more complex than the previous recessions. Achieving low costs, rapid approvals and high quality is critical to developers, approving agencies and the community.

Brandon knew that his industry experience and dynamic team could craft a solution that would work for professionals on both sides of the permit counter. In 2008, Brandon created a new company called EcoLogistics, LLC. The challenge was set: create a new and better system for planning development projects and communicating the project’s value to stakeholders. To be successful, the solution must provide a variety of performance measures, adjust to changing priorities, anticipate project-level performance and demonstrate a compelling value to all participants.

Today, EcoLogistics is working with a wide variety of public and private clients to measure the performance of their projects. Brandon currently uses the EcoPlan on his own development projects and actively consults with the EcoLogistics management team.
