EcoLogistics: Groundbreaking Solutions for Sustainable Development

The EcoPlan™ Decision Evaluation Dashboard

Each prospective supplier or contractor brings a unique set of attributes that, if selected, would affect a project’s economic and environmental performance. These attributes are defined by the disclosures that suppliers and subcontractors provide using our Good, Better, Best bidding tool. The bidder’s information is then converted to outcome metrics that are loaded into a project specific-database.

The EcoPlan™ Decision Evaluation Dashboard enables planners and project managers to see how project-level decisions would impact organizational priorities – including first cost. Project managers move the knobs on each continuum to explore the implications that different combinations of construction suppliers and contractors would provide. When the project manager finds the ideal combination of price and goal performance, the tool tells you who to hire to achieve that outcome.

The tool creates an output called your project’s “EcoPlan™”. The EcoPlan is an executive summary that lists your suppliers and contractors and the performance metrics for your project. In addition to these metrics, the output describes the Return on Investment that was achieved by strategically sourcing materials and contractors as well as how much additional performance was available but not achievable on this project.

The EcoPlan Decision Evaluation Dashboard includes a scoring feature that indicates how well a particular plan lines up with organizational priorities. This score is called the “EcoScore™”. Planners and project managers can utilize EcoScores™ to discover and communicate the quality of their project’s EcoPlan™ from the organization’s perspective.

EcoLogistics™ and its consultant partners are trained in the application of the EcoMethod™. Contact us today to find out more about how we work together to improve construction project outcomes.
