Chris Humphries leads the product development and marketing efforts for the EcoLogistics company. Since joining the Birtcher team in 2000, Humphries has been an integral member in the development of significant projects throughout the Northwest, including the development of numerous office and retail buildings, miles of public roads and infrastructure, entitlements management, master planning and marketing. Recent projects include the 2007 DJC top projects award-winning Lane 1919, a green, mixed-use redevelopment that includes a new apartment & retail tower and historical renovation in the Northwest District of downtown Portland. Additionally, Humphries developed the first speculative, Gold certified LEED industrial buildings in Portland called Birtcher Center at Townsend Way. Prior to joining Birtcher, Humphries worked for a local subcontractor and then at R&H Construction, Co. in estimating and project management capacities. Humphries earned a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Psychology and Communications from Oregon State University. He is the responsible managing individual for Birtcher's Construction License and a former board member and chairman of the Leadership Beaverton program. Humphries is currently enlisted in the Sustainable Building Advisor program for this fall.
